The museum was on the site of the Archeological site of Philippi. The museum has 3 floors. Windows and great air conditioning. It was very hot outside in September 2020. They also had a machine full of drinks and snacks. You could see the museum in an hour. But the site could use 2-3 hours. The signs are in English and Greek. Very great for tourists.

Awesome sight, still in the works. We got to talk to one of the Archaeologist and it was amazing what we found out. So much history and culture... museum is on point and service at the little restaurant outside amazing! <3 <3 <3

Go for the history. Stay for the exemplary love for detail rendering human kind's greatest culture. Truly, thank you! Why the last star missing? Well, I was going to award 4 stars and realized there was no reason to not go for 5.

Nice little museum. We visited on a very hot day so going around the ruins was a challenge but the inside was nice and cool.

It was great to see all that history from this beautiful country! I really recomend you to visit this place, you can learn a lot from the past and see how they evolved. As in each other land, you can discover so many interesting things and places, not only the beach which is extremely beautiful

Helpful and welcoming staff and a nice, small museum. Also within walking distance of the Lydia Baptistery. The cats outside are friendly too.

The staff was quick to show us the exit. We had the feeling that our visit bothered them.
