The Archaeological Museum of Lavrio is located at the entrance of the city. It is a ground floor building from the 1970s. The exhibition is developed in two halls, the atrium and the perimeter of the atrium. There are no so many exhibits but there are many rare mineral tools and related information.

Very nice to visit if you are a fun of minerals
Small and had an interesting section on silver and lead mining around Lavrion
Small but interesting since the area has great and rich history. Impressive (and sad) to read where some of these items were found.
It's good to see the more fragile ancient remains of Sounion kept well and accessible
A realy small museum with findings from the area. It has the reliefs from sunion temple. The mosaics were not there as it was for restoration.
Why don't they close at mondays, like any other museum in the world?
Small but Interesting
