Not a great experience. It felt like just renting the equipment for 3 days in a row. The instructor was obviously bored and apart from 10mins guidance in the first class we were left on our own.

We really enjoyed our first windsurfing class today! Ruby was great instructor and helped us a lot! The owners were kind and joyful. I would definitely recommend it. We will be back next year! Thanks! :)

Today I had my first lesson of Windsurfing. The experience was not that great. The instructor, a girl named Amber, was really bored. The lesson was not really a lesson. Only a 5 minutes technical discussion, a really brief how-to, and then you are mainly on your own. Overall, I would not recommend!

TL;DR at the bottom. We had our first windsurfing lesson here today. At first all seemed nice, but during the lesson we noticed that the teacher's attention seemed to not be spread evenly over the pupils. You have to be quite pro-active and go look for him/her with your board to ask questions. If you don't have the right guidance, chances are big that you're making technical mistakes that could be avoided if a teacher were to have a look at you. Making these mistakes means falling off the board much more than necessary, given the right hints. Just one explanation at the beginning of the lesson will not fix you for the rest of the lesson. After the lesson I went to the teacher to give feedback about our experience. She took the feedback very personally and got emotional, which was not the intention of the feedback. I was trying to end the conversation in a nice way but then the owner started to get involved. He put the blame of not getting attention on my girlfriend, assured us that the teacher was perfect and told me to get lost. I told him to not end the conversation on a bad note but he wasn't available for any feedback. There is nothing to learn from paying customers. They have got it all figured out and you are just one more tourist that he''s happy to split from his money. We had a drink at a hotel next door where he saw us. He rushed in to give us a bad rep at the hotel reception because he thought we were staying here. TL;DR: the owner is an arrogant gentleman who doesn't know how to handle feedback and even chases the people that try to give it to him to their hotel. If you want to learn how to windsurf, go do it, but we recommend a different school.
