Lifelong Learning Research Institute (3LRI) is an organization focusing on life long learning using information and communication technology tools. We are a member of the i-learn Group of Companies that employs 25 professionals and focuses on education, training and learning using information and communication (ICT) technologies. Indicative running projects are the following: LIST aims to address women that for age, level of education or participation to economic life, lack sound digital competencies & skills necessary to benefit from the services of the ICT Society nowadays. 3LRI is leading the Project Management and Coordination work package. In addition, 3LRI leads the work package on mainstreaming of results and exploitation. The project started on November 2013 and will be concluded by October 2015. The project is co-funded by the European Commission through the EACEA, GRUNDTVIG Multilateral Projects. CaMEO is a project that aims to improve and extend the employability of Europe's aging workforce through enhancing mobility. The project will design and develop an e-Academy for the assessment and enhancement of the skills of the workforce, and link it with employers’ databases. e-Academy will provide workers with an opportunity to digitally map their skills, experience and qualifications against the EQF. It will also be a portal for learning. The ‘Matching Database’ component of the platform will allow older workers to register their skills, experience and current position on mobility, with employers who are looking to overcome skills gaps within their organization. 3LRI is leading the Quality Assurance work package.and supporting the Project Leader in two work packages: project management and exploitation strategy. The project started on January 2014 and will be completed by March 2016. The project is co-funded by the European Commission through the EACEA, Leonardo da Vinci, Transfer of Innovation.
