One of the highlights of my trip to Greece. There's not all that much left, hard to get to, not well maintained.... but you will have the place all to yourself. Feeling a connection to a place without the horses of selfie snapping tourists. A few walls remain and some underground structures, but a magnificent view and a feeling of solitude where you can imagine what the history of the place truly felt like

Ilias Evmorfiadis

A sad monument which is being destroyed by time and nature, practically left on its own. A fort at some point in time, now protects sheep and goats. Access is not very good, with parking for only a couple of cars. It's a pity local authorities haven't decided to do anything of value to restore and take advantage of the landmark.

Φραγκικό κάστρο στη βόρεια πλευρά του όρους Καλλίδρομο. Χτιστηκε επάνω στα ερείπια αρχαίων τειχών.

Ωραίο αν και ανεκμετάλλευτο το κάστρο,με φοβερή θέα και πολύ κοντά από Λαμία. Αξίζει την επίσκεψη για βόλτα! Την επόμενη φορά θα κάνουμε πικ Νικ \u200d\u200d

Δεν καταφέραμε ποτέ να ανέβουμε. Στους χάρτες δε δείχνει πρόσβαση ούτε με το αυτοκίνητο, ούτε με τα πόδια. Σε πάει μέχρι ενός σημείου αλλά δε μπορείς να το βρεις μετά. Κρίμα γιατί φαίνεται ωραίο. Κακώς που το χωριό δεν το εκμεταλλεύεται ανάλογα.

Πολύ ωραίο μέρος απίστευτη τοποθεσία αλλά εντελώς παραμελημένο. Ούτε μία ταμπέλα δεν υπάρχει στο χωριό που να σε οδηγεί στο κάστρο.
