This is our second visit to Kefalonia. Viva cooked for us last year and we made sure she was our first contact this year. We stayed in her beautifully equipped apartment and enjoyed her wonderful food again. In fact so much that we have booked her again for another much anticipated culinary feast. Viva will adjust her menu to your tastes. Whatever you ask her for you can be assured it will be wonderful. The beef stifado melted in your mouth, the village sausage was exceptional and the stuffed peppers were amazing. In fact all the Viva experience is not to be missed. My husband says that I have to add that I am a true foody and praise from us is praise indeed!

My husband and I had a great pleasure to take a private cooking class with Viva during our honeymoon trip. We were the only ones and the menu was based on what we like to eat! There was plenty of food and drinks, we couldn’t finish it all. We enjoyed our time with Viva and George who told us many funny and interesting stories about the island and their life. We totally recommend it to everyone who loves food!!
We have had Viva and her partner cook for us 2 years in a row. They are both lovely - very friendly and professional. The food is amazing and Viva’s choice of menu was perfect. We would have no hesitation in recommending them and if we are back in Kefalonia we will be contacting them again. Thanks!
Amazing Amazing Amazing! My girlfriend and I went to viva’s cooking class today. Not only did we learn how to cook amazing authentic Greek cuisine with local organic produce but we also met 2 lovely friendly people in Viva and George! You chose the dishes that you learn how to cook which made the experience all that more special as we are now taking these recipes home with us! It was 100% the highlight of our time here and amazing value for money! Only thing I will say is don’t eat breakfast before you go as there is more than enough food there! We will be back :)

Totally worth it! We had a lovely time with Viva and her husband George at their Kephalonian home. Both were very kind and generous and we had a lot of interesting discussions about life and food. The class was well prepared and it was also no problem to request dishes that are not in Viva‘s standard menu. We cooked Giouvarlakia, Beef Stifado, Tzaziki, Greek Salad and Kataifi. All steps were explained in detail and no questions left open. The food and the vine were delicious. Thank you Viva and George for your hospitality and hope to see you again one day :)
