Really amazing views! Didn't know what to expect at this place but it definitely didn't disappoint. Also, if your afraid of heights this is probably not the best place for you.

Absolutely gorgeous place! Definitely stay here for a couple of nights to explore everything. There are many viewpoints, hikes, and springs to go to.

Such a beautiful gorge. We did the track from Vikos to Monodendri and it took about 5 and a half hours to fully complete with about 30-45min of total stops. Going down to the river took about 30 min and going back up took a bit longer. Definitely recommend to try this track or other shorter ones if you don't have as much time.

Vikos Gorge, Monodendri 440 07, Greece is located in the Pindus Mountains and begins between the villages of Monodendri and Koukouli and ends near the village of Vikos. The name Vikos probably comes from the Albanian word for bridge or wooden pass. Vikos is listed as the world's \deepest relative to its width\ gorge in reference books including by the Guinness Book of Records amongst others. Fortunately there are natural viewing platforms over the deepest part of this stunning natural fissure to be found at Oxia & another at Beloi, on the eastern side of the gorge.

Beatiful landscapes in a wild nature.

This was absolutely breathtaking. We travelled by car and found the place easily, took a gentle stroll along the route and to the view point which is great. After spending time there we took the path to the left which has been carved from the rock face. Well worth it as long as you are careful because falling off the edge probably means death. I would not recommend the walk for small kids or people scared of heights. The view point is fine for everyone though.

A great canyon for a trail. One of the deepest on earth, and a wonderful and ice cold stream at the bottom.
