Good for kids
We had a fantastic ride and got to canter/gallop on the beach as the sun went down. We've both done many hacks but this was the first time we've ridden at pace - it was very exciting! I was on an ex racehorse and was a magnificent animal. All the horses looked very well looked after. Thanks Linda and girls, see you next time we are in Naxos

I can only recommend doing a tour with this club. Today, I was the only experienced rider, so I was able to go alone with one of the guides! It was just awesome, we talked a little and enjoyed the ride. And the best part was the galloping on the beach! I had so much fun, just letting my horse loose and go as fast as it could, I had a blast! If I ever come here again, I will definitely go on a tour again!! Thank you so much Naxos Horseriding Club, I had an awesome time!!
I had a great time at Naxos Horseriding Club. Linda the owner is very kind and helpful. If you have any issue you can talk to her and she finds a solution. She loves her horses and takes good care of them. Even though some horses are a bit older, they are all in a good condition. There are horses for every level of experience. I went with my boyfriend who has never ridden a horse before in his life. He got a lovely and calm horse, now he is a fan of horses ;) As they split the group (beginners/experienced riders) at the beach, I was able to Galopp on the beach in full speed - my highlight on Naxos.
I took a riding lesson at this place. I would consider myself as a beginner with a little bit of experience. I liked that the trainer took me back to the very beginning where we started working on my sitting and balance. I had so many "aha-moments" and good insights that I am very thankful to have had a lesson with her! Her approach seems to me very close to "horse-nature" (learning how to ride without reins and stirrups).
Horseback riding at Naxos Riding Club was fabulous! The staff is nice and friendly, they are all knowledgeable and made the experience well worth it. My husband is a beginner and I am an experienced rider. They split us up at one point so I could Canter without the other horse trying to follow. It was an absolute dream!
Avoid at all costs. Dangerous and unprofessional. Horses are not trained. Staff is not trained. Owner is very unprofessional- only accepts cash and did not provide a refund when her horse literally bucked me off. Expect to ride through a narrow trail with many briar bushes sticking out. No warning or instructions to wear long sleeves. The horse I was on stopped to pee and lost sight of other horses. Then went into a full gallop and came to an abrupt halt which is when I was thrown off. I did a front flip over the horse and landed on my back. I was with my two children (13 and 9) and asked to go back. They said okay but then I asked them to find out of my kids wanted to continue. They LIED to me saying that they had spoken to my kids and my kids wanted to continue. This was a bald face lie as they never asked my kids. The kids rode for 2 hours with zero explanation of the state of my health and were afraid and crying the entire way. They asked to go back and were denied. The 15 year old girls leading the ride then teased them a little. They were literally hysterical when they returned. Both of my girls had cell phones but were not allowed to call me. This was not only unprofessional but cruel. The ride was unsafe. There was zero instruction even though everyone on the tour was a beginner. The woman who runs the outfit will only accept cash and has a “no refund” policy. She refused to give me my money back after I walked back to the stables with a ripped and dirty shirt and a huge bruises. Unless you are an expert rider you should avoid this place like the plague. Don’t take kids here, ever. And FYI this is the first review I have ever written in my life. I don’t like to spread bad energy but feel it is my duty to inform others about how dangerous and unpleasant this experience is.
The best experience you can have in Naxos... Linda is lovely person and great instructor.
We had a really nice time riding through the narrow sandy roads and along the beach. The horses were picked carefully according to my boyfriends and my own riding experiences so we felt very comfortable all the time. The gallop at the beach was great! And all the time we had a nice chat with Ozeane, our guide. We'd definitely recommend the stable and would come again. The horses look good and are trained well. We had a lovely time!
