Very unique and exciting. Bought a lot of stuff spices for a whole year. Returning every year when we visit Naxos for the yearly summer vacation.

What an amazing store... it’s like stepping back in time. There’s nuts, dried fruits and herb and spice mixes on display. Cheeses sit on a bench and can be purchased. Many other items are sold here like Greek honey. Cooking pots and tools are also available. Traditional baskets hang outside the store.

I loved how traditional this shop is. Recommended by locals as well as the Graviera Naxou - the most wellknow cheese of the island is done here with the traditional way. The person who served us explained the difference in the cheeses and we also got to taste before buying.

I have been traveling a lot lately. The experience I had in this shop was phenomenal. I tasted the best cheeses I have ever had. Bought honey, olive oil, herbs and all of them were great, the service was really good and the prices was reasonable. WORTH VISITING

Unfortunately we are unable to be on Naxos at the moment, due to Corvid 19, but when we do arrive this fascinating store will be one of the first places we will pop into.

A mixed review here. Our first visit we couldn't get any service or attention at all, in spite of the fact that we went in intending to buy spices, cheese, and dried fruits and vegetables for the two months we lived on Naxos. There were a group of men in chairs sitting in the store and we couldn't even get around them to make our selections. Maybe they just figured we were tourists and weren't really going to buy anything. We finally left and bought all these items, about 150 euros worth, elsewhere. A month later we dared to try again, wanting to buy some dried tomatoes. This time there was a woman working that was very helpful. We bought our tomatoes, some walnuts, and some of the soaps they sell. We compared recipes with the woman working there and another patron for preparing dried tomatoes in olive oil, and got some good tips. It was a great experience. As we left Naxos, we wanted to stock up on items to take back to the mainland, and had a close repeat of the first experience. We managed to buy some tomatoes, but left and bought the other items elsewhere again. It really depends on who is working what your experience will be.
