No wheelchair-accessible entrance
I would not say that this place is something special. It is located next to a central avenue of Athens. It is not worth going only for this, unless you intend to visit the nearby Veikou Grove.

I would give it a 5/5 rating simply based on the significance of the site, but unfortunately the modern Greek has no respect for his or her own history, and that is painfully visible in the neglect this Roman site has to endure, whether it be unceremonious building around it, unkempt grasses, or the graffiti of the Hellenic Vandals.
Ancient and magical
Quite neglected site. The presence of ungroomed dry grass around it led to a small forest fire lately.
What a pity!This fantastic monument of Hadrian Aqueduct of what it remains basically two columns in the central section and left and right of centre three columns left to deteriorate without any protection in their bases but also in its structure where falling or extracted(!)ancient bricks from vandals .From closer observation the left section of the remaining Aqueduct seems to have a forth column nearly cannibalised .

Το αδριάνειο υδραγωγείο φτιάχτηκε τον 1ο αιώνα μ.Χ που το έφτιαξε ο Αδριανός. Ενώ Το Αδριάνειο Υδραγωγείο στην Αθήνα κατασκευάστηκε από τον Ρωμαίο αυτοκράτορα Αδριανό, και αποπερατώθηκε από τον διάδοχό του, Πίο Αντωνίνο τον 2ο αιώνα μ.χ. με στόχο την ύδρευση της πόλης των Αθηνών από τα βρόχινα νερά της Πεντέλης και της Πάρνηθας. Τμήμα των ερειπίων του μεγαλοπρεπούς Αδριάνειου υδραγωγείου διακρίνονται σήμερα στην Νέα Ιωνία στην συνοικία Ελευθερούπολη, στα σύνορα με την Καλογρέζα
Αν κάποιος το είχε φροντίσει,θα ήταν κόσμημα για την περιοχή.Ακομα και ένα.ξυλινο βάθρο που έβαλαν με κάγκελα πριν χρόνια,έχει αρχίσει και φθείρεται. Στο εξωτερικό θα το είχαν κόσμημα.
