Small but nice and extremely effective airport!

Airport for accepting domestic flights,and VIP Z for world famous Paros resorts.
Wonderful staff, just not enough of them. The process to board is not great, they should separate the check in and boarding with a larger building. At the gate there is air-conditioning and it's cool, but they prematurely open the door to the tarmac letting all the cool air out and your clean, dry, flying outfit becomes wet and uncomfortable as do you. Then once through the gate you wait in the sun and heat for the bus to arrive, the bus has no air-conditioning and is hot, the one poor guy is operating all the equipment by himself, there needs to be more staff on the tarmac for example bus driver, luggage handler, special deliveries personnel, fire suppression staff, emt staff, police should be armed and additional airline staff to help with wheelchair bound people ect.. This is a new airport that runs EXACTLY, the same as the old airport and who's infrastructure is almost identical. The only thin new about it is the runway width and possibly length. The parking lot itself is ridiculous and an embarrassment to the entire country of Greece. 4 spots for handicapped, 5 spots for rental cars, and 15 spots for everyone else?? There are people parking all over the place, just throwing cars wherever they can. They should also think about a separate area for taxi and buses other than 2 meters/feet from the front door! It makes the place a mess and dangerous to walk to and from. Btw, other than the annoying heat, which wasn't a deal breaker for the above is a legit review of what needs to happen at that airport. They could add an Atm and at least Olympic should staff the ticketing office during airport hours, it doesn't look good havi g that desk shutdown and barren.
Small airport, efficiency low; personel only there just before and after flights.
Pretty good for a small island airport. Be warned it's small and you will wait either outside or where you check in at the counters while waiting for your flight to be called. From that point you will go through security, before waiting for your flight a d the bus to take you to your aircraft. Wait outside if you can as there are many inside who do not have manners or the personal space needed.
Although I love this little airport and the staff, in times of Covid it's not such a great experience. At Athens Airport the seating is marked out for social distancing but in the tiny departure lounge at Paros it seems it doesn't matter as everyone is crammed into a tiny space and queuing up to board the buses, no social distancing is observed or enforced

Small airport without any seats to wait inside. Thought such a highly popular island would have a larger airport. On the other hand, the airport is new and clean.
