Great food, great service and attention to every detail! We were there on opening night so the place got really busy really quickly. Our group was pretty large and we ordered pretty much everything on the menu to try it out. The food is amazing. Reasonably priced and top-notch quality. The service was brilliant despite opening-night nerves. The decor has been especially selected and it creates a pretty unique atmosphere. There are three requirements that make a great restaurant: 1. Food that's well-cooked 2. Service that comes with a smile and 3. An environment that helps you have a great night out. Barkarolla has all three. Highly recommended!

Awful management and service. First of all we had made a reservation for 6 people which they did not keep since when we arrived there was not a table available for us. We got "lucky" since one happened to clear out in the 10 minutes I was waiting for my company. Another crucial part is that a friend of the manager showed up with her company without a reservation and got seated right away! After that the majority of the waiters/waitresses were overloaded due to the fact that they had obviously overbooked. But not constituting an excuse for the absolutely rude and not responsive that was assigned to us. Food wise we thought it was good overall with one major flaw in marketing. The tried to serve in what we thought was a prawn seafood pasta, shrimps! Which apart from the obvious difference in taste and size there is a huge difference in prizing. After a complaint was made by us and the table next to us we were again encountered with more of the manager's excuses. Overall all those factors could be attributed to an overbooking but there were a lot of problems in management to be overlooked.

I've now dined here several times and every single time it's been an amazing experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the menu is creative and there is so much to choose from! Also it's the perfect distance from the sea, it's close enough to see and smell it but not too close that the wind and the temperature in the evening is an issue (ideal conditions in my book!). Everything is really clean and looked after, you can really see that the owners care about the place. And I loved the decor!!! If you are going out with friends whether it's drinks or an evening meal or you are looking for the perfect date-night restaurant - I highly recommend it, you will love it! P.S. The best calamari I've had in a long time! My compliments to the chef!

Καινούργιο κατάστημα στη παραλία της Πάτρας που αξίζει να το επισκεφθεί κάποιος έστω και μια φορά. Αν και πήγαμε Μ. Παρασκευή βράδυ που γινόταν το αδιαχώρητο σε όλα τα μαγαζιά εξυπηρετηθηκαμε σχετικά καλά. Περιορισμένη η επιλογή στο κατάλογο γι'αυτή τη περιοδο και όλα τσιμημενα. Από αυτά που πήραμε το χταπόδι με μακαροτσινι αδιάφορο ενώ τα τηγανιτα καλαμαρακια και τα καλαμαράκια με κριθαράκι τέλεια. Το προσωπικό ευγενεστατο και ο χώρος πραγματικά υπέροχος από την οροφή μέχρι τις τουαλέτες.
