Very nice place. The people are friendly and answer calmly all your questions. They teach you facts about donkeys and the history behind every donkey. But you can also just chill with the donkeys. They don't ask you to donate at all (they didn't even mentioned it) but I think for such a nice project everybody has some euro!

It is a beautiful place in which a family rescues and takes care of exhausted animals used for labour and living in horrible conditions across the island. They give them home and a safe and peaceful life. If you are in Crete, go and visit them and remind yourself why life is about caring for others just as much it is about caring for yourself.

Very cute donkeys and a very friendly owner. We bought some self made honey, olive oil and Raki to support the donkey sanctuary. Such a good quality

Barbara and fani are so lovely and warm hearted people. What they are doing is so beautiful. Giving the animals, donkeys, goats, dogs and many more a shelter and peace after their hard and sometimes abusive lives before. This has to be supported, it is so much worth it.

A lovely refuge for animals (donkeys many other farm animals, as well as cats) and the owners really took the time to talk to us and show us around. Definitely stop by if you're in the region!

this place was amazing, donkeys were gentle and friendly and i befriended a particularly lovely blind dokey named naomi. each of the donkeys have beaded collars with lettered beads spelling out their names. staff are amazing and helpful. it has a lovely gift shop selling toys and bags. Highly recommend.

The animals are treated very well and can finally live in peace. Please visit this place, enjoy the view and lovely animals. I did 3 years ago and I still have this place in my mind...
