Me and the Mrs we're on a cruising holiday and wanted to make the most of Athens so we looked at various tours in Athens and after reading reviews decided to go with John's Yellow Cab. The whole booking process was straight forward with no complications. We discussed via email what we wanted to do during the day and they recommended an itinerary which was perfect for us. We arrived at port and George (GG) was waiting for us. Once we got in the car, which was spotless and very comfortable he made us feel at ease. The local history and knowledge that GG shared with us prior to each stop was fantastic. GG also had a DVD which showed places we were passing and gave us cultural information as we drove about. He navigated the streets to avoid traffic where he could (I was on Google maps at the time looking at the city and could see him missing the traffic!). He really made the most of the time we had. GG recommended a place for lunch and we had amazing gyros (by far the best we have tasted in Greece) and it was right next to the museum too which was a bonus. I would without a doubt recommend that you try them out if you want to see Athens.

My wife and I did a 9-hour day/tour to Delphi and the Monastery with George (G.G.). It was an absolutely fantastic day and our best time while in Athens. G.G. arrived at our hotel right on time and we were on our way. The drive was about 2 hours, but went by quickly because G.G. gave us historical, cultural, and current information all along the way. He was very easy to communicate with and an exceptionally professional and safe driver. He also played a DVD to give us even more history before we arrived. We toured the Delphi ruins and museum on our own for 2 hours, then did a quick stop by another ruins at his suggestion. We had lunch in Delphi and invited G.G. to join us which he did. Wow was this another treat for us! He explained Greek food, culture of family and eating, and helped us to order the best items. It was also nice to have a local make us feel like VIP. Lastly, we stopped at the famous monastery nearby. G.G. walked us through the entire place showing and telling us things we would have never known as there are only a few info placards available. He also invited and has us partake the blessing before leaving which was a shot of tspouro raki (what I'll call strong grape liquor) and a dessert (Turkish delight to most - I forget the Greek name for it). The day was fantastic and we were brought back to our hotel literally at the agreed-upon time. I highly recommend their service as opposed to being stuck on a coach bus with strangers. The experience and unique perspective is well worth the expense. The company offers many other tours and private taxi service anywhere you'd need to go. Thank you, G.G. for an unforgettable day!
