Its' first project, is a platform that with the use of wireless sensors, manages to control irrigation from distance, and gives farmers immediate access to information on weather forecasts, it as well offers on site environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, etc. The introduction of this technology will utilise Arduino units, a website, Smartphones applications, GPS, and solar power to remotely control watering and other crop management. In 2014 Agrologies was selected by the Angelopoulos Foundation to participate with a fellowship at the Clinton Global Initiative University, that took place in Arizona, USA. Later that year, Agrologies was successfully selected as one of the seven business ideas to be supported by the initiative “Mazi stin Ekkinisi” coordinated by ΣΕΒ & The Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH).The main objective of the initiative is to provide support to scientists-aspiring entrepreneurs to turn their business ideas into useful business projects. Now, Agrologies is a member of Agrient Accelerator.
