THIS is the Greek experience we heard about and were hoping for. This family owned restaurant is extremely proud of their recipes passed down from generation to generation. The waiter came to our table to welcome us and said “Our menu is only in Greek, here we prefer to bring our best dishes to the table to enjoy. If you don’t like it or have an allergy just let us know and we will accommodate. The price for 2 persons including a big bottle of water, wine, beer, and bread is 35 total. What do you say? Sit back, relax and enjoy!” And enjoy we did!!! I am still surprised with how good the price is and how delicious each dish was, they practically had to roll us out of there we were so stuffed. Close to the port but a definite one to be sure to eat at if you are staying in city center. Thank you for a wonderful meal and experience!

Delicious food and friendly staff. Off the beaten track (for a tourist) and was really worth going! They offered us a tasting menu of lots of different dishes. This was amazing value and the best food we had all holiday!
I love this place. Came when I first visited Piraeus last year and have booked tables two nights this trip. The family who owns it are lovely and will just bring you food until you're fit to burst! Incredibly cheap, even if you're in Athens get a cab over, it's worth it!

A hidden gem in Piraeus! A family-owned restaurant (taverna), in a quiet residential area, offering great food and capturing the true essence of Piraeus. Here, you'll find unpretentious traditional Greek food made fresh on the day. All dishes from starters and salads to mains were wholesome and delicious. Plenty of vegetarian options as well. Service by the friendly owner was equally good - his love for what he does is coming through immediately. Special mention has to go to the roast pork and the vegetable-balls. Do not miss if you are passing by Piraeus - 100% worth taking a little detour from the seaside.
Nice hosts, authentic food and good times are guaranteed! Tip: Ask for something local and you will be thanking me.
Perfectly suitable for vegetarians. Photos speak for themselves but in case they don't, the food tastes amazing. Taste the fried feta in honey and sesame seeds.
Great food really good atmosphere and the staff are all amazing and friendly! I had a great time with my family. Some nights they also have live music which makes this place even better!
