Gounari is the main entrance to the center of Piraeus whether you come from Retsina or from Pireos. It's a meeting point for many lines of Piraeus surrounding areas, which use Gounari in order to enter to Piraeus, and then exit again via Ethnikis Antistaseos. Also used as an embarking stop, like its sister stop in Ethnikis Antistaseos. But unlike the one in Ethnikis Antistaseos it has a mutual placard for all lines passing from here.
