Hidden jewel at the messy harbour district. It was the best dinner we had during our 4 days in Athens. We were their last guests today, but the staff was very helpful, nice, patient and not pushy like at other restaurants or shops in Greece. The food was excellent, the tastes balanced and exciting. We tasted different kinds of seafood: cod, squid, shrimp and octopus. All great. The only negative issue was - but we experienced the same with all restaurants now in Athens - that the portions were quite small. All in all, I definitely recommend this place when coming to Piraeus.

The restaurant wasn’t easy to see, but with some help from Google maps we managed to find it, and I’m so glad we did. The restaurant was cozy and cool at the same time. The building has a long and interesting history which was fun to read about on the meny. The staff were friendly, helpful and gave good service. Despite a seven day road trip with lots of varied food, we found dishes we hadn’t tried, like the black pork, shredded buffalo and beef stew. The waiter actually recommended these dishes we were curious about, so we decided to try them, and it was amazing! I especially enjoyed the shredded buffalo and the beef stew. Although the dishes were «saucy», the combination of the flavours mixed well together! I also liked the little details like the red pepper corns that added that little extra to the dishes, and also loved the the fact the bread was homemade and warm when served. We will definitely return if we are ever in Athens again!
Very impressive place. Look no further if you need to have a meal in the Piraeus area. It is close to the Blue Star ferry office and port. It is themed really well and has a live music area. The house wine and serving staff are great. From what we ordered, the fava bean salad was lovely and the addition of deep fried capers is inspiring, the black pork pitta was generous and filling, the cod and black pork was well flavoured. All very reasonably priced. Perfect end to a stay in Athens and perhaps the best meal we had there.
We stayed overnight in Piraeus for the early morning Blue Star ferry to Paros. The hotel recommended Pakadiko restaurant just a short walk from our hotel. This restaurant is a local gem. Located in an historic alley between buildings from 1860s with small shops, it was restored keeping the shop facades and turning the entire area into a superb dining experience. All our dishes were tremendous from 3-4 tapas appetizers to the main dish of black pig filet chops. Very tasty and tender. See attached photos. If you have to eat in Piraeus near the port, you must eat here.
Tapas restaurant with very traditional Greek food. Friendly staff and very tasty food at reasonable price. The octopus and eggplant salad are so tasty. The portion look small but 2 Tapas/mezes with bread are good enough for a dinner. Most of the restaurant in Greek only serve cold white bread which are very chewy and tasty bland. I told the staff that I may not need the bread if it's cold. He said \we will do something for you\ and finally came with a plate of bread toasted with oregano and olive oil which is very delicious. I don't even wanted to leave a single slice on the plate.
Excellent restaurant serving delicious food. We had dinner here during our one night stay at Piraeus (before getting on a ferry boat on the next day) and I can’t wait to return. Really great experience (affordable prices as well!)
