An absolutely perfect evening. Our hosts were kind and welcoming, the food was incredible and it was like having dinner with friends. We loved it so much we plan to return before our holiday is over and we can't wait! All of the food and drink was home made using ingredients they grew, everything was just delicious. The home made cheese and raki were particular favourites for our family, but it was all phenomenal!

Had a wonderful lunch here - our hosts were so charming, the food was delicious and we learnt a lot about Cretan cooking. The house is in an idyllic setting too, tucked away in a pretty village. The English interpreter was excellent too. We will be back next year!

Today we had our cooking class with Androniki and her family and friend. We are coming to Crete for the last 26 years and I can only say that today was one of the best experiences we had and just another prove why we fell in love with Crete and her warm, loving people. The cooking class consisted of the every day local food the Cretans eat. Forget everything you are used to get in restaurants. That’s good too, don’t misunderstand me, but what we learned and ate today is so much more genuine and tasteful. Add up the hartwarming company of Androniki, her husband and their great aristocratic lady friend who helps out with translating the things we need to know. So, I have no words to express our experience but if you are interested in meeting a local family, cook and enjoy a wonderful meal and have a great time contact her and book your cooking class. My partner and I went to see Andronikis and family for a lunch time cookery class and got so much more! It was more like being invited round by new friends. We had a lovely lunch, great hospitality and a lot of fun cooking and chatting. If you have an afternoon free I would recommend you go see this lovely family.
