If you are looking for a perfect place for lunch in Rethymno, you HAVE to go here. Probably the best food we had in two weeks in Crete, in a beautiful garden with very good and friendly service. The garden is amazing, so was the food (especially the Cretan salad and the Cretan pasta with shrimps)... just delicious!!!!

One of the best restaurants we've discovered in Rethymno. The waiters and waitresses have been very friendly and their service was very good. But most importantly: the food! Exceptionally delicious, from sea food to traditional dishes. We enjoyed our meal and dwelling in the atmosphere of the outside terrace which felt like a garden, covered by lemon trees. Highly recommendable!
Everything was just absolutely stunning!! All the service staff were incredibly kind, caring and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! Especially the octopus was excellent! The atmosphere is so beautiful and romantic. We definitely enjoyed our stay and I would absolutely recommend the restaurant to everyone! Bravo!!! :)
We walked into this restaurant on our way to another one just because my wife liked the look of it. It turned out to be the greatest find in our trip to Greece. The food and surroundings are stunning and the people are very professional and genuinely nice. Everything is top notch yet the prices are very fair. Don't miss it!
We loved Lemonokipos garden! It was our favorite restaurant in Rethymnon. We even went two times, one time for lunch and another time for cocktails and stay for dinner. The food is delicious. The ingredients are very good and they add a twist to the traditional Greek food. The homemade bread is very good. They are also very friendly and easy to accommodate our 10 months old baby. Baby chair is a plus!
4.5 Stars Amazing staff and service, so friendly and welcoming. All the food we ordered was great - my husband especially liked the sea bass. Unfortunately for me, there aren’t many vegetarian options hence -0.5star. The prices are a bit higher than average, but worth the good ambience and service. Look out for the hungry kittens who will hover at your feet whilst you eat ️
A gorgeous place with kind, friendly staff and truly exceptional food. Best restaurant choice of our time in Crete, and one of the best experiences in recent memory. Every course was delicious and the prices were also very reasonable, despite a beautiful atmosphere that felt high end. We were sadly just passing through Rethymno but sincerely hope to come back to Lemonokipos someday !
Excellent meal! Highly recommend the lamb (theyve had the same recipe for decades) and the beef cheeks. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and let us know what all the herbs were growing around the restaurant. I also liked the feeling of dining in the forest with all the indoor trees. You should definitely try Lemonokipos if you are in Rethymnon
