If you are going to Kefalonia and need a hire car use Simotas car rental the service is fantastic. Vagelis is a great guy, he supplied me with a map and gave me some great advice on driving on the island. Will definitely use again.

We hired an A class car for a couple of days to do some exploring of the island by ourselves. Great little car, well maintained, fun to drive and very economical on fuel. The customer service was brilliant, the car was dropped off and picked up from our hotel which was so convenient. We were provided with a map of the island (which was invaluable) and recommendations of where to visit too. Highly recommend Simotas Car Rental for your visit to Kefalonia.
I highly recommend Simotas Car Rental. We hired a car for 10 days at the cheapest price to be found in the Skala area. Vagelis is great - very helpful indeed. Our car was clean, well maintained, and we had absolutely no problems at all. The car was delivered and collected from our hotel at no extra charge. Everything was great. If would happily give a recommendation of 10 stars out of 5!
I would highly recommend Simotas. Really smooth experience from start to finish, very relaxed and efficient. The car was cleaner and better maintained than previous rentals I've had from companies in Kefalonia and other Greek islands. We had the Micra Convertible which was loads of fun, great for seeing the views easily and came at a great price. Thank you!
We contacted Vagelis a few days before our holiday and he was extremely helpful and polite and put our minds at rest about hiring a car. We had a Volkswagen Polo which was perfect for the island . He delivered it with his very sweet assistant to the hotel for us at 9.00 am as we asked and explained everything . A very trusting and pleasant young man - we would certainly use Simotas again if we go back.
