Paradise for lovers of sweet desserts.
Arrive in Crete at 6:30, pick up the car and drive to Sweet Corner for breakfast. The best way to start a holiday. Excellent coffee, fresh orange juice and a wide range of breads, filled baguettes, savouries, biscuits, cakes, pastries, gateaux and ice cream. Quite a significant police presence when we were here, but they came for the coffee, not work. Don't miss it.
Excellent bakery. Friendly staff. Lovely little find on our way from Chanda airport to Sitia. Mushroom pie and Ice cream was amazing! Will be back when we're going home!
Try their ice cream pistachio and pomegranate flavour, fantastic. Available too at the KTEL bus station Sweet Corner! But you can't take it on the bus. Their cones are great with it too.
