Very disappointed that as a loyal Star Alliance GOLD member I was denied access due to AEGEAN lounge being closed. I booked my ticket with AEGEAN who is also a Star Alliance member, and because my flight is using an Olympic Airways aircraft (which is out of my control, of course), I was told I could not come in. They said that only Aegean lounge would accept my access, but they are closed. REALLY? Again, out of my control. An exception should have been made in this case as I am a international customer as well. I just happen to be going on a domestic flight today which again, is out my control which type of shared airline they use for this flight. This is trying times, and would have been nice if you put such ridiculous and insulting policies on side. The airport and lounges are basically empty, anyway. Shame on you, Lufthansa.
Great choice of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks as well as food. Kind friendly staff. Nice to relax before the flight sideways of the busy public area.
This is a great little lounge. The area is not large but adequate and very comfortable. The staff was very nice, and they still walk through to announce flights. They buffet for breakfast was very nice; eggs, cheese, sausage, yogurt and all the toppings, bread and cereals. But what got this lounge the five star rating was the selection of single malt Scotch Whisky and other whiskey that they had. I just wish my flight has been much later in the day!
Nice and small business lounge, but more than enough for a short stay. Luckily it wasn’t crowded, but i can imagine the lounge getting quite packed during rush hour. Staff was very easy going and polite. Food and drinks are similar to all the other lounge, with a similar quality. WiFi was good enough to work, check Email, etc.... I deducted a star, because of the lack of toilettes. For that you need to go outside and use the terminal restroomss. Was ok with it, but still I would consider it to be a standard for any lounge.
Best lounge in Athens international airport. Food quality is really good and a lot of healthy and drink options. Negative: they don’t have water bottles to take away / instead Aegean lounge has the option to take away soft drinks and water bottles. A bit small and they don’t have a toilet. They could add greek newspapers.
Great selection of fresh and high quality food and drinks. Might not be the biggest Lounge but clean and modern.
Tons of local food. And by local, I mean amazing Greek food.
