Best place in town to have an easy going dinner and some Drinks. We spent here several hours and had cool Smalltalk with the owner. Very nice place! Really recommended! We got ice cream and Raki for free... thank you for that!

Best family place. Great fresh food. Great price to quality, you can ask for everything and get tasted. They doing homemade virgin olive oils. If you not shore ask for film what you can see how owners working on olive farm and how is looked process to made these great taste olive. In patio grove lemon tree, you can get one if you ask. I back again to these place!!!!.
Just the best service and food. The meatballs and steak were recommended by George and they didnt disappoint. Absolutely amazing.

The Katerina Taverna easily had the best food out of all the places we visited, and along with that came excellent service by George, who made an effort at all times. We never had any issues with any of our orders and I must highly recommend the Katerina Special (Expect a big portion, they're quite filling!). Surprisingly, this place has some of the cheapest food in Stalis which was great for us because we were running low on funds the last few days. I'm not too fussed on visiting Crete again as a whole, but if I did I'd have to visit this place again! Keep up the amazing work George.
We went here because we had read such good reviews, and were not disappointed. An immediate and friendly welcome from George, the owner, and a choice of table. (This was not possible later in the evening when the taverna filled up, even so late in the season). There were a lot of repeat customers, all greeted warmly by George and his son whom we were also introduced to. The food was very high quality with large portions. We are returning later in the week!
