They call it a mall, I call it a collective of uninteresting shops. Took a cab here hoping to escape the hot sun and do some relaxed shopping but on arrival you discover half the shops are closed and what was open wasn’t really anything special. It might have been a mall years ago, now it just felt like an afterthought

There are two big Malls in the Southwest part of Athens. River West and Athens Heart Mall. It's pretty small compared to The Mall in Marousi or even Metro Mall on Vouliagmenis. But OK, it's the best option for the winters, if you are around Pireos street....but do us a favor and fix the taps in the restrooms. Among the 8 taps (4 in Men's restroom and 4 in Women's), only the one was working. And, yes I went to the women's, because there was the only tap that was OK.
We went on a Wednesday. The mall was okay, but looked dead. So many shops were closed and so were a lot of restaurants even when it was past 1:30PM. We just ate at whatever restaurant was open and left.

Nice spoted with easy parking. Some choices for shopping and a good playground at the top floor for the kids and for the parents to get some rest.
