Best restaurant I’ve been to in Thessaloniki (I’ve been at around 25 of them during this week). Sea bream was amazing!
Excellent food. Fresh and tasty. Check the menu for the products that are frozen (king crab etc). My recommendation: king crab tartar, rice with asparagus and saffron, seafood pasta. A little pricey (we paid 132 for 2 appetizers, 2 main courses and 1 bottle of wine) but it worth every penny.
One of the best seafood restaurant in Thessaloniki Seafood were fresh and cooking were done delicately to preserve the texture and natural taste of seafood. Nothing was overly done- prawns were fried with juices intact, oysters steamed with lots of brine in them, grilled sardines were soft inside. There was also touching of Asia - like the use of Wakame (Japanese seaweed) and sesame in the dressing. This impresses me that the chef is always exploring new taste and is up to date with the international culinary scene. Not a 5 Star yet.. because it’s not artistic yet. They could if they wish to! Show some story behind each dish and step up the presentation. But even if they are not doing so, I will revisit just because the food is good . And they are very hospitable to offer various digestives at the end of meal on the House. Great restaurant
Bread with tuna was delicious. Fish was a surprise, boiled tomatos with the skin and served without (I do it at home time to time). Zucchini was full of oil, later less surroungings. Sushi was overcomplicated but generali good.
Great place, great food! Even if seafood is not your first choice. I will definitely return!
Ideal spot for seafood. Probably the best one in town. Prices may be high but they match the quality.
