Due to the Asia Minor Catastrophe in 1922, the family settles in Macedonia, Greece, where it continues the art of traditional distillation, producing and distributing in the Greek market. In 1973, the legacy continues with Anestis Babatzimopoulos, grandson of the founder, founding a winery and distillery in Nea Aghialos, close to Thessaloniki, where he starts production of Ouzo, Tsipouro and wines for the internal and foreign markets.
