Quite a charming church dating back to around 1350. It's slightly below ground level so you can conveniently see the dome. It is open during the mornings and evenings, although the interior is not really that interesting. However there is a dossier with a brief outline of its history translated into several languages.

Incredible piece of history! Built in the 14th century it is awe inspiring to imagine what this place has seen over the centuries.
It was close in the evening, but beautiful from outside.

Από τους πολυάριθμους μικρούς σε μέγεθος, βυζαντινούς ναούς της Θεσσαλονίκης, θαμμένος κάτω από το οδόστρωμα των παρακείμενων οδών υπό την σκιά των γκριζων και αχαρων πολυκατοικιών που τους περιβάλλουν. Σε οποιαδήποτε άλλη πολιτισμένη χώρα το συγκεκριμένο αρχιτεκτονικό και θρησκευτικό μνημείο θα τύχαινε πολύ καλύτερης αντιμετώπισης και ανάδειξης. Σημειωτέον ότι ο ναός έχει πάρει μια αξιοσέβαστη και μάλλον επικίνδυνη κλίση.
