The food was good, nothing special though. Satisfying portions, amazing drinks (we ordered a margarita jug) and kind service. The backyard is very cozy.

A really special restaurant hosted at a special place. Great menu and selection of cocktails. Amazing steak and delicious nachos. Would recommend to anyone me who wants to live a Cuban night in the city
Habanera is a Caribbean/Mexican restaurant located not too far from the esplanade, in the eastern part of the city of Thessaloniki in Northern Greece. It is housed in one of the older, former aristocratic homes. There is a large variety of dishes on the menu, all deliciously prepared and the servings are quite hearty, so you can do what the Greeks do, order a variety and then turn everything into a 'meze' by sharing the plates amongst yourselves. Service could be a little friendlier.
Habanera is a really great place to have lunch or dinner. It has quality food and really nice sizes of dishes! We had the burrito con pollo and the jerk chicken. Unfortunately I couldn't take a picture of the jerk chicken, because it disappeared to quickly. But the burrito is a classic! You have to try it. It is sweet and hot. It's just perfect! We will come again! Secret tip take the homemade lemonade.
Nice food and atmosphere! Service is polite. One of the improvements I would like to see is some renovations.

Oh my God! You have to try this place the food is Amazing!!! It is beautifully decorated and reasonably priced. If you like Carribean/Mexican cuisine Habanera is a must.
Good kitchen, friendly staff, nice plates, music has an issue, maybe music equipment needs renovation....
