When you return the car the office was closed,and wait for almost one hour. And this in the middle of a big city as Thsssalonik. This is not the kind of service we expected to have with Hertz rent a car

Good service, good choise of cars. Loved the lady who works at city office (Vera). Hertz really made our stay in Greek more interesting.

They gave us a car with dirty seats. When we returned it, they charged 60 EUR tax for biological cleaning. On the plus side, they were the only office open on Sunday in city centre.

We spoke to a very pleasant man during the day about a week's hire from Hertz Salaminos 4. When we went down in the early evening we came across Vera. She spoke with us as if she didn't understand much of what we said (English) OR she just didn't like us. After discussing price which wasn't what was on offer online, and being told she would not discount at all, we still decided to go ahead. Following confirmation of all this, we presented my driver's licence and she delighted in telling us without an international driver's licence we could not hire the car. However this was not a problem next door at Sixt. We found her very unpleasant to deal with. The team at Sixt could not have been more helpful.
