A pretty good zoo for a smaller town like Trikala. It is a very nice place for the children, even as a way to come into contact with farm animals.
Decent place. It is more like a farm because domestic animals live (ducks, sheep, horses, peacock). Nice place for kids.
First things first: the location is perfect! The nature, the fountains etc it's a great place for families to visit. Now when it comes to the animals it could have been so much better. They are all interesting and cute to watch, it's more like a farm, but they need more care, more cleanliness, better homes etc. All in all it's a beautiful place to visit and when there try not to think of all the things that could have been better. Just have fun.
Beautiful location, and pretty nice small zoo, nice also for families with kids.
