Incredible nature monument!! Superb vibes! Be careful of the ruined signs! Just follow the red arrows and you re there! Dont miss to go also to the church of Saint Charalambos a little down of there, it s a wonderful place!!

Pilgrim's Way

Accessible by car, though someone has removed the signs. A few old olive trees standing there for centuries. When not in the summer heat it makes a nice walk getting there. Accessible from Moroni as well the small village Panagia.

Alte Olivenbäume gibt es auf Kreta jede Menge. Wen man den von Moroni gefunden hat, erklärt eine stark verblasste Infotafel das das Alter dieses Baumes auf 3000 Jahre geschätzt wird. Wie man auf den Fotos deutlich erkennen kann trägt der Baum noch jede Menge Früchte, beeindruckend.
