Great restaurant with fresh fish and meat creations. Right opposite of the sea fortress. Place was packed around lunchtime and mostly locals eating, which is always a good sign. Waiters could be a little more friendly in my eyes, no minus for that though, maybe they were just stressed that day. Food came fast and reasonable prices plus a nice little dessert plus raki on the house. Would definitely come back here!

Visited the place based on the recommendation of a local business associate for lunch. Unfortunately, it was not much to write home about. Average quality and presentation dishes that simply do not live up to the food tradition i know over the years in Crete! Service was satisfactory but crew did not use sanitary gloves in the midst of a well publicised covid outbreak in Heraklion. Utensils and plates should be simply cleaned better. Did try the courtesy dessert and loukoumades and liked it. Nevertheless i will think twice before visiting again...

We had higher expectations for this place. The food was so so. Dolmadakia meal was awesome and that’s all. Grilled octopus was like a rubber and without any spices, definitely tasteless, fried zucchini were too oily, and a one of fish of portion with red mullet was uncleaned and bitter. And every meal comes with fried potatoes, I don’t like this kind of presentation of meals in general. Otherwise one of the waiters was really attentive and friendly, and we had raki, fruits and sweets for compliment and dessert.

An absolute must when you visit Heraklion! situated near the harbour in a tourist area, value for money. The portions are larger than other seafood places, fresh ingredients and excellent service. The complimentary desserts are an entire meal on their own. I have never been disappointed eating here.

For me the restaurant is more like a fast food place. The waiters are quick and rather carelessly put the food and other things somewhere on the table where there is space. That was okay. It was a little too dry for me. The potatoes were great. There is no water on the house here which I know from other restaurants in Crete. The bread that is individually wrapped and placed on the table without you having ordered it also had to be paid at 50 vt per piece at the end. I didn't like that. The free dessert consisted of raki, grapes, melon and Lokumades with ice cream. The lokumades with ice cream was delicious. Prices are okay.

We were lucky to have booked a table. The restaurant was packed! Very attentive service, even brought a heater for us as it was unusually windy that day. We enjoyed everything that we ordered and were really full at the end because we were given huge portion of complementary dessert which we polished off.
