Amazing ambiance and delicious food! 7 Thalasses is my idea of the perfect neighbourhood eatery but with an upscale twist. Comfortable and stylish outdoor area that really encourages socialising. The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are extremely generous! Starters can easily be served as a main course! The menu is simple and offers local authentic dishes with a modern twist. An absolute must try is the grilled octopus with mashed fava beans!

Excellent seafood, the best we had on Crete. We were heading out to the airport and were rushed off our feet. The staff was amazing, within 15min we had the best seafood pasta on the table that we ate in Crete, after 2 weeks of trying out many many tavernas. Such a great find and only 4 min away from the airport...amazing!
Right at the coastline approx. a km from the centre of Rethymno you will find this excellent seafood restaurant. The view is fantastic but the food is even better. Do try the fish of the day - it is very delicious. The interior is fancy and the service is great. Expect the prices to be above average, though.
A little out of the way but well worth it for the amazing food. After 9pm the atmosphere gets lively and good. Sushi was just insane and the wine even better.
