Excellent rooms at a superb location, only 15 minutes from the port. This is not the island of Syros you'd expect, as the village lies in a pristine valley, full of trees. A perfect getaway spot, even for short stays. And it is oh so quiet at night. Highly recommended.

Chroussiano Farmhouse refreshes the true meaning of words like ‘authentic’, ‘tranquil’, ‘discreet hospitality’ because I can’t find any other to describe the setting, the hosts and the overall experience of staying there, and the people here (or their absence) are very much part of it. Busy Lefteris was tending to his vines but also cheerfully tended to our needs when it came to it, while Alexia was making her thoughtful but ethereal entries and exits on the stage of our glorious patio. We also caught a glimpse of little Hermes, a Tom Sawyer of a boy, chasing geckos and spiders around. Oh, there is the room, too. Of course, it was stylishly decorated with traditional pieces and Alexia’s ceramic creations of subtle sophistication….but with a patio like this and a hammock, who needs a room? This is a place for people who like to tread lightly, but you need to bring (or hire) your own wheels to get there. Superb!
The place, the surrounding and the owners are all great! Really worth to visit for a week or more, so you can relax and enjoy.

Οι οικοδεσπότες μας, μας άλλαξαν τη νοοτροπία για τη φιλοξενία. Νιώσαμε σας να μας φιλοξενούν φίλοι που τους γνωρίζαμε 20 χρόνια. Είναι ένας από τους κύριους λόγους που αγαπήσαμε τη Σύρο. Το κατάλυμα είναι λιτό και απέριττο, δεν του λείπει τίποτα (η τηλεόραση είναι απολύτως περιττή και σωστά δεν υπάρχει) είναι το καλύτερο κατάλυμα που έχω μείνει και θα πρότεινα σε όλους όσοι ασχολούνται με τον τουρισμό να το επισκεφτούν και να το αντιγράψουν.
