PMA is a martial arts dojo which teaches Jeet Kune Do kick boxing, Inosanto Kali and Sayoc Kali, amongst other things, such as MMA conditioning, Karate for kids etc. These are martial arts and methodologies exclusive to PMA. There are no other places in Athens or in Greece which teach them. The teachers are friendly, respectful, eager and extremely knowledgeable in the arts that they teach. Prospective students may track the 'teacher/student' lineage of our teachers there. There is a sense of brotherhood, friendship and the process of learning a martial is an intense, fun and exciting process, which is what PMA takes a lot of pride in. All students are screened in terms of their character fiber and all 'hooligan types' (for lack of a better term) are respectfully declined admission. Discipline, honour, responsibility, fortitude and endurance are the major cornerstones of this particular dojo. The arts being taught there have street effective applications which - in terms of actual self defence, in real life threatening scenarios - are unparalleled to other martial art 'sports' which are taught in other dojos. This is not to disrespect any other form of martial art, but to emphasise that the methodologies taught ar PMA are actual 'street fight enders'. On the contrary, previous experience in other martial arts is actually complimentary to the PMA martial arts material. There are no belts, badges or awards given to students, so as to allow all students to remain humble, just as Bruce Lee always intended. As a student there, I cannot praise Progressive Martial Arts enough. All ages are welcome, visit PMA for a free session, or just drop in to say hello!
