We came to the restaurant without a Plan. The view is beautiful, so our expectations of the food were not very high. But we were positively surprised - really very tasty food and super friendly staff! There is a dip and a small dessert on the house. We had two dinners directly there to try other dishes on the menu! Absolute recommendation! The Prices Are really Good and fair for the Food you get serviced!!!

Went to Gioma for dinner. We had a fantastic little table down by the lake- make sure to book early to get one of these tables! the view of the lake with the twinkling lights above made for a very romantic setting. They have a wonderful wine selection, lots of Greek varieties all at great price points (15-30). They brought a lovely yogurt dip and delicious fresh baked bread to start with (not much use for someone who is dairy-intolerant). We had the marinated sardines for appetizer and it is very tasty if you like sardines! super garlicky and great with the fresh bread but a bit too much for an appetizer. For mains, we shared the medium rare skirt steak and fried octopus. The skirt steak was delicious, cooked perfectly and the potatoes it was served with were buttery and seasoned well with rosemary. The calamari was delicious but a huge portion served over taramasalata (cod roe dip). They served a dessert on the house - their take on a cannoli and baklava. Service was slow, but overall a nice experience.
Our favourite meal in Crete by far! Would definitely recommend. We came for lunch and had a selection of appetisers to start - try the fried cheese and the cheese croquettes! The beef short rib and fillet were the best we’ve had in a long time. Friendly waiters and very clean. Will be back for sure!
Lovely setting looking out over the lake. The food was amazing and great value and the service good too. Would recommend trying to get a reservation for the tables that look out directly over the lake to watch the sun go down. Amazing.
Comparing to other greek restaurants, the food quantity is less but the dishes quality was really good. The food was tasty. Try to book your table before going, otherwise you'll have to wait for too long.
Excellent service and excellent food. Portions are small but prices are low as well, you can order more than one food if you are really hungry. This polace also offers you panoramic view.
Amazing food. We stubbled in by accident as it started to rain and were super positively surprised. Great view and not only really nice service but amazing food quality. Do go! (but maybe trust the wait or in terms of how much you order)
If you want fresh sea food this is NOT the right place . Mainly frozen seafood fish etc they mark all of these products with a star that means it’s frozen. The waiter was nice and they responded very fast nothing is wrong with the restaurant as itself but if you skip all the seafood the selection is quiet poor . However the prices are very fair and the view is stunning .
