Went on an afternoon sailing trip to the island of Dia with two friends while travelling in Crete. It was a fantastic experience, and particular shout out of appreciation to Nikos and Emma for their fantastic service. Great deal for around 2 hours of sailing, time to swim and fresh, local food and wine over the water. Definitely a "must do"

Had the best boat trip today with George (Gorge?) and Nancy. Such nice and friendly, easygoing people, they are a treasure by themselves. They sailed us to Dia for half a day. For lunch they serve a really good meal (not the usual, but actually very tastfull cooking), Nancy is a great chef! If you're lucky, George lets you steer for a while and if you like you can help a bit with the sailing. And a special thank you to Thomas (from Austria), who picked us up at the hotel. We met some really great people today and had a wonderful experience.

Alter Sail’s Nikos and Emma are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. From mythological stories to letting us know about technical sailing aspects - Nikos was always happy to answer any questions and then some! There was absolutely nothing I would change, everything was perfect. Thank you Nikos & Emma (Alter Sail!) for such a memorable experience - it was the highlight of my trip. -Dia

Nikos turned our day around by helping us book a day trip to Dia island after the catamaran we rented through another company left without us. He even recommended a place for us to grab food while we were in town before our sail took place. The sailing trip with Giannis and Emma couldn’t have been more perfect. They were kind, accommodating, and genuine. We had a delicious meal on the boat and got to swim around in the clear blue water before catching the sunset on the trip back to the harbor. This was a day we will always remember and I highly recommend Altersail to anyone visiting Crete. A must do!
