It is a very interesting museum with too many exhibits, the most in very good condition..All people working there are polite..Its too pitty to visit the beautiful island of Chios and not the museum. The visiting hours are daily from 08:30 am to 16:00 pm except from Tuesday (closed)

Amazing pieces of history. I saw lots of archaeological museums so far but here some things I saw first time and very reach of history island. Worth to visit in Chios. P.S: island have lots of old beautiful buildings around and many of them abandoned/not restored. You need more work on that in Chios

not a small peripheral museum. This place is fairly big. And very interesting with all kind of archaeological findings from the area. with many sculptures and potery. Quite impressive the macedonian tomb on its yard. its exhibition is turning rather old and has to be renovated. a nice place to visit unfortunately no photos are allowed. Photos are not just a touristic action its an essential part of a museum visit. The people in charge of the museums in greece have to be forced to understand that the exhibits are not theirs to keep and "rule" but part of the (world) cultural heritage.

Sakız adası aslında en önemli on iyon kentinden biri imiş.
