A small museum,in about 30-40 minutes you can see it all.Not very impressive, you can see there some old clay pots,a few statues, most of them in pretty bad shape, some stone figurines.

The Archeology Museum was a very short visit as they only had one exhibition open and it was only in Greek and French. To be fair, we were told that when we went in and it only cost 3 but it was still disappointing and we only spent about 15 minutes there. The Museum of Prehistoric Thera a few minutes walk away is vastly better.

The place exhibits the excavation of the old settlement in Santorini. Would be a nice place to visit if you are into history and archaeology.

Almost completely closed due to renovation needs. The little section remaining is not worth visiting. Otherwise, it would be a major attraction.

Very few archeological artifacts, very small exhibit (one average sized room), mostly photographs. Very disappointing. On top of that all explanations are in Greek and French, so if you do not know either language, you have to guess what you’re looking at. By comparison, the Museum of Prehistoric Thera is excellent.

It's worth visiting this museum if you are fan of the authentic greek atmosphere (not much for the artefacts though :)

Although the exhibition is very informative and educational, we were told to hush while trying to explain to the children what all the pottery is for and where it came from.

A small collection to understand what happen in the Ancient Thera. Expect vases and vases. If you are an avid historical fans, do go. If you have the pass, go. Or else you would not miss anything if you skip it.
