Just enjoyed a fabulous meal in this lovely little restaurant. The food was fab, started with their homemade bread and dips which was amazing. Moved on to mains and found portions to be huge and food to be incredibly delicious. Finished off with a free desert - again very delicious. Overall for 2 meals and drinks it was 25 plus tip. Outstanding service in a very homely atmosphere. Friendly staff and very good service. My partner and I both wish we’d found it at the start of our stay so we could visit again! 100% recommend to anyone visiting Athens.

For our first dinner, our mains included the grill plate for one (very good and plenty of food, couple pieces of grilled chicken, half a sausage, hamburger (minced meat, not a fan), pork chop and bacon) plus fries of course, and the chicken schnitzel with cheese. The cheese on the schnitzel overwhelmed the dish and ended up having to scrape it off.
Excellent assortment of exquisite plates. Visited it during pandemic, we felt really protected as their precautions were at a e exellently reassuring measures! Excellent cuisine and impeccable service!!!!!
Best restaurant in the area, a must-see if you're staying around Ambelokipi! Kind service in English, tasty local dishes and great ambiance. And they have yummy vegetarian options as well!
Wonderful place with delicious food options and great service. The staff was really kind and professional. They have delicious deserts as well. The restaurant is a little bit out of the main tourist spots, a great place for anyone who wants to enjoy a little quieter evening.
We came back twice because the service and food were so great here. Highly recommend their Greek salad (duh) and the haloumi on grilled bread.
The Alexandra Restaurant is such a reliable choice that, year after year, every time we visit Athens and stay nearby, we enjoy at least two meals there. It's also not far from the wonderful National Archeological Museum. Service is friendly and almost family-like and the choice of food, both homemade traditional Greek and more international fare is perfect. The restaurant has a nice terrace surrounded by greenery across from a small neighborhood park. Value for money is clear in the very reasonable prices.
