Very dirty and the toilets are a no-go. Staff is mostly friendly. There are nicer bus stations.
We took the 7:00am bus from Athens to Kalambaka on 14/10/2020 and while the route seemed fine and everything ran on time. Our driver was hacking a lung, coughing all over, and didn't even have his mask pulled up. So gross and unprofessional and unsafe in COVID times. He shouldn't be driving around the public, not adhering to the law and putting all the passengers at risk. There was nothing in the way if COVID cleaning measures being done at all either. I wish I had another option for getting back to Athens because I would take it to avoid another drive like today where I felt completely unsafe. If you have another way to travel, use it.
I ended up in this small KTEL bus station by mistake and the security officer so politely and helpful pointed me in the right direction! Thank you for helping me find my way home!
Its a good terminal People buy tickets and go to other cities of greece And the terminal has ataxi station and bus station that can go anywhere in athens
Taxis. Our only one bad event of all the wonderful, incredible things we enjoyed in Greece. On returning to Athens from Delphi by bus, the taxis at the bus terminal (KTEL Terminal B) refused to take us to our hotel, about 15 minutes into the centre. We were not alone, as others also being refused. We called our hotel on the phone and they also tried to understand but were told 'it's complicated to explain'. Eventually the hotel were able to convince a driver to take us. What is going on, holding visitors to ransom like this ? Unpleasant. Our great thanks to Mary working on hotel reception who was able to put this right. Bravo to the hoteliers.
Very confusing and the people are not so helpful. The system is terrible if you are new at the city or a tourist. I would recommend going to the terminal with a lot of anticipation to look for the right place to buy the tickets and the right bus because you usually can't buy them online of need validation anyways.
Probably due to corona no buses are g Going. Waiting is a waste of time.
