I have to give this restaurant a huge star rating and an extra good review. The service was fast, the young gentleman was very friendly. He had to run up 3 flights of stairs everytime something was needed and did it damn good without loosing his breath. The food was so flavorful I have to make this the best restaurant I've been to in Greece and in the top 5 favorite of the ones I have ever been to. It really is mega if you can make a reservation on the rooftop I promise you won't regret it. Enjoy people bon appetit

Very good selection of local food and it tasted very good. Service was friendly also. We found it by accident when we saw it was nearby and had great reviews. Since it was dark, we did not see it was surrounded by these amazing historical landmarks. Walk home was full of discoveries. :) The only reason that I rate this place 4/5 stars is that there are even more delicious Greek places in Athens. But as I said, the food was good.. just not anything special as I expected from other reviews :)
A very tasty afternoon treat! Portions were very big and filling, and was very tasty and (seemingly) authentic. Service was awesome, as well. Our food came out very fast, the fresh bread appetizer was warm and crispy, and at the end of our meal we received a couple of free chocolate mousses to end our meal.
I walked back to this restaurant as the guys were the most polite and funny group of the plaka area of Athens we encountered. We sat on the roof top area and it was beautiful. Food was great and the server was on it. Definitely recommend this spot for a nice or romantic meal!
Gorgeous rooftop view of the Parthenon. Great service. Delicious traditional Greek food. Service was friendly and food was delicious. Vegetarian friendly - try the baked eggplant and the gemista. Delicious Greek food at an affordable price! Recommend the Mousaka and house special! We highly recommend this place.
The path between Plaka and Monastiraki is chock-full of restaurants, with Adrianou being a particularly hot spot. Lots of tourist traps to be found, so beware. Maiándros is one of the smaller places, and I'm glad I chose to stop by for lunch. The menu contains both traditional Greek dishes and stuff that might feel more familiar to less adventurous eaters (though I wonder why anyone would order spaghetti at a Greek restaurant). I ate olives for an appetizer, then a shrimp and feta main course (whose name I cannot recall), which was delicious. Service was also quick and polite.
Very nice local restaurant. Great food and friendly service. They even offered a free iced coffee! Amazing!
The starter, main and rose wine were delicious. We were in a group of 6 people and everyone ate very well. The attendants speak a little Portuguese and are very kind, we talked a long time with them. Recommended restaurant.Passing by Andrianou we stopped at the meander. Traditional tavern with nice appetizers !!!!!!!
