Nice sandy long beach. There is a beach bar ("Apodrasi"retreat) in the north part. The place is really remote. Swallow sandy waters, nice for kids. Due to being open to North - North East winds the place is excellent for wind or kite surfing. Still a very nice and safe beach. Beach bar offers the basics, could not expect more is such a remote place. There is an old tank on display up on a hill in between the beach entrance and the beach bar. Combine the visit with nearby Ammothines (sand dunes).

Nice long sandy beach almost deserted because of the dirt road.Worth visiting especially if it is not a windy day.

Gorgeous sandy beach with crystal clear waters and small rock formations in the water. I don't know why people here are criticizing it so harshly, or how they are not amazed by it. Almost deserted, especially on the far right side of the beach bar. Nudism is allowed. There's a deserted ww2 tank on one of the sand dunes - a M24 Chaffee, if you'd like to take some photos. The beach is generally clean, but there's some plastic debris sparsely here and there, probably washed up by the sea. If you'd like to help keep it clean, take an extra piece of plastic away with you, along with your own trash.

It's ok. Very dusty. I went with conventional car but for a better experience you need 4wd. From there starts the known sand dunes of Lemnos. I was not amazed anyway...

This is a distant beautiful beach with a small beach bar, umbrellas, sun loungers, shower and toilet. It's a bit difficult to reach by a small car, after Katalakko the road is almost not covered by asphalt. When you leave the beach please collect your own rubbish AND pick up at least 3 pieces around you (whatever it is and whoever had left it), put it all your car and drive it to the nearest bin. Recycling is welcomed! The island has recycling bins almost everywhere!
