The breakfast was very good! The room is big enough , but the beds and pillows must be replaced with newer and more comfortable. The shower must be improved. It is more like 2-3 stars hotel. The location near the airport is a plus.

This is a very good hotel for its position and the free service shuttle from the airport. The room was okay for one night, it was a little cold inside because the AC was not working properly. Just because the room was at ground floor and not in the basement I considered it too costly. The restaurant of the hotel has a good variety of dishes at good price and very tasty and the breakfast was diversified. For one or two nights I would choose it again, but I would take a cheaper room.

Avalon Hotel is perfectly situated near the Thessaloniki airport (10 minutes by car), and to the IKEA bus station (10 minutes by car). It features an outdoor pool, outdoor seating area, and green spaces all around. The staff, notably: Konstantinos, Gianna, Vasilis, Polycronos, and Alexandros were all amazingly kind, helpful, knowledgeable and polite. The room was spacious, clean, had bottled water and even welcome wine! I slept well as it was quiet and other guests respectful of noise. There is a self-service buffet breakfast in the morning. There is a shuttle from the bus station to the hotel, and from the hotel to the airport (*amazing service*). There is wifi located all throughout the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and I hope to stay here again in the future.
Very kind staff. Beautiful place to relax and chill with your friends especially mon-Fri. Weekends are more crowded.. No entrance fee and good prices. Recommended
Good service and very good cleanliness. Location perfect for airport transfer only. There is wide lack of details, which should not miss in 4* hotel, which decrease the overall value.
