A beautiful byzantine church in the heart of athens.

Beautiful little church. The remains of the monastery that was on this site. It sits below street level as the ancient city is mainly knocked down and buried under the cities building rubble. Therefore churches like this now sit down many steps. Quaint little Greek Orthodox Church.
