Wonderful people who help them who can not speak our language. Very clean cages and lots of space for the animals who are rescued. Thanks! You are heroes!

As tourists we found a kitten in very poor health and tried to get help. Other organisations were unable to help and pointed us to GASAH. The initial phone call was helpful and asked for a picture which was sent by email. Sadly the email response was abrupt and said we should take the kitten to them as they were busy. That was ok as we had a car and we then asked where to go. The response was vague and further emails were ruder and more sarcastic telling us to "think and reflect" as they are unpaid and after all it's only one cat! Shows a lot of care and interest. I certainly don't think this is the way to talk to anyone who cares about animals in distress.
Very quick contact with the people from Gasah help the little Kitty suffering with the broken eye. Without their help he would probably die in a big pain. Now, because of Gasah help, we can leave Kos being sure that kitty will survive. Thank you very much one again! What your doing for those animals must be very hard but definitely necessary!
ZERO STARS IS MORE APPROPRIATE. I visited here with my family last week whilst on holiday in Kos and saw the work they do. We left a donation, as we thought the work they are doing is excellent. However, my opinion has now changed. The evening before we were due to leave for the UK, a stray dog turned up at our apartments. I therefore contacted GASAH via FB messenger to see if they could assist. I was asked if the dog was ill, injured or was of an age where she could be sterilised and duly responded. I received a message asking where she was and if they could meet me, so I again explained I was on holiday and leaving for the UK the next day. GASAH could not meet me the day I was leaving and said that they could come the following morning. I therefore explained that other holidaymakers at the apartments would be available to deal with this once I left. One of the holidaymakers therefore contacted GASAH regarding collection of the dog only to be told that they had not agreed to collect the dog and that I had “befriended” the dog and left for the UK which was a “wicked” act and my responsibility! To say I am furious is an understatement. I was led to believe when visiting GASAH that they wanted people to be proactive with strays, etc, on the island. I was obviously very wrong. Just for the record, I had not “befriended” said dog. I hadn’t even seen her, I had just been advised of her condition, etc, and photos were provided to me. I am truly appalled that blame has been laid at my door!!!!!!!!!
People actually think that they really help animals but what they really is that they spent money so they can have an easy life the people that they supposed that take care the animals . They just going around without asking find animals and take them so tourist see that actually they do something and donate money . If I could give zero star I would
There where amazing Cats and dogs there
A save heaven for Greek street animals. The staff/voulunters where really nice they showed us around and let us play with puppys and kittens. They even picked us up from the bus stop in Pyli and dropped us off. Thank you so much.
