Nice Gorge with lots of shade. If you walk this gorge take enough water with you. Some parts can be a bit difecult. Look for the red arrows/signs because Some parts its better to follow them for the easy way.

Lovely, but hard
Don't follow the Google maps to take you to the entrance of the Gorge, it drove us in the middle of nowhere! The entrance is at nearby village Katochori as I learned later but instead we drove to Faraggi next to Stylos and we hiked our way up. The gorge is charming but if there was a path, it no longer exists. We walked inside the riverbed, which was dry. Be prepared for some climbing on huge rocks. It's fun but can be challenging too!
Parked at the bottom of the gorge by a sign to the "Oak Forest". Apparently the top is better marked. Look for a signpost with a blue 2 that marks the entry at this end. Took longer than expected and we only got halfway due to the amount of boulder climbing required. This took us about 4 hours at a leisurely pace. Moderate physical fitness required. Follow the red arrows for easier paths.

Belles gorges que nous n'avons pas parcourues dans leur intégralité. Nous avons commencé par le bas. Se garer près du panneau Diktamos Oak Forest. Longer un verger d'oliviers jusqu'au petit pont où il faut prendre le petit sentier longeant le lit de la rivière jusqu'à trouver le panneau avec un 2 bleu. Le reste de la marche se fait dans le lit de la rivière, sur terrain très caillouteux et avec quelques passages d'escalade facile sur gros rochers. Jolie végétation et rencontres avec les chèvres. La balade en commençant par le haut de la gorge est sans doute plus attractive que par le bas où la marche dans le lit de la rivière avant d'entrer dans les gorges à proprement parler est un peu fastidieuse.
