Very nice place good atmosphere staff are brilliant. Resident band Izzy Dizzy are very good playing a vast range of music with there own twist to the songs. There is a clothing section to the rear of the bar where you can by tee shirts and caps etc. Only small down side to the Double Deuce is the price of the drinks, a little expensive. It was a good change to hear decent music instead of the music / entertainment in the hotel.

The greatest live stage on the island. Superb service, very friendly. The band is marvelous. Definitely a place worth visiting.

Well, my oh my! What a venue & what a house band! The Izzy Dizzy Band with special guest George for 2 ACDC numbers! Only got to see them once as leaving tomorrow, but I would definitely recommend, 5 stars indeed

I had high hopes for this place having read previous reviews but as a fan of live music I was sorely disappointed. I couldn't believe the way people were whooping and screaming for a mediocre covers band playing slow rock . Out of the first three tracks 2 were plodding Elvis songs. Suspicious Minds and whatever the other one was. I'd lost interest by that point. There were 20 year olds going wild, waving their arms and screaming. Until this year I saw loads of real bands mostly at Rock City Nottingham and I thought to myself, if these middle of the road 'rockers' cause this much excitement then your heads would explode at the likes of Skindred , Skunk Anansie or Fontaines DC. Left after one drink. Wont be going back.
