My favourite restaurant in Sami, we stop there every time we come to Cephalonia. Delicious home made Greek food. Treat yourself with Cephalonian ekmek, delicious local dessert.

Effie and the staff at the mermaid are always lovely and can't do enough to ensure their customers are happy. Have been there 6 times on our last 3 holidays to kefalonia, the food is always perfect, especially the swordfish souvlaki and great value for money.

Food was ok, The service was good but we found the food average. The squid was good but the mixed grill was average, the presentation of the food was very plain.
